Yoga for Runners

Runners in the Tampa Bay area can schedule private or group yoga sessions designed for the specific needs of runners. A great addition to your regular stretching routine, Yoga releases tightened muscles by focusing on stretching and flexibility. Yoga moves are concentrated to areas where runners often experience tightness, such as the hips, hamsrings and lower back.

How it Works

All private coaching programs include a complete evaluation during initial consultation. During this session, the coach will get acquainted with the athlete, review the athlete's history and establish training goals. From there an customized training program will be designed based on the runner's specific goals, whether it be a first 5k or to qualify for the Boston Marathon.

Training plans are developed specific to your goals, fitness level, available training time and other factors that may influence your training. This helps to ensure that you arrive at the starting line prepared and healthy. For each workout, you will receive a detailed description containing the purpose of the workout, the pace at which to run, and any necessary instructions needed to perform the workout properly (in the case of speedwork, for example).
